Frank blinked at him blearily from over his coffee mug. "Isto early for executive 'cisions."  
 
"No." Gerard was abnormally bright eyed and bushytailed, it was only nine in the morning.   
Frank yawned, rubbed his eyes and set his cup down. "Okay, whatsit?"  
 
"We should elope to Canada." Gerard said, completely serious.  
 
"… Syrup?" Frank asked. It was waaaay to early for such shenanigans. He hadn't even finished his coffee, and he was pretty sure Gerard just proposed to him. &nbs 88. Forever and a Day

 Waiting in line for a teller at the bank was always the most boring thing that could possibly take up your Saturday. The time moved impossibly slow, crawling along like molasses, with the monotone buzz of the tellers talking to their respective customers.  It was just so goddamn boring. Frank had never been the most patient person on the planet. Being stuck at the bank didn't exactly help that fact. There was only one reason he absolutely, positively NEEDED to put his paycheck into his account right now.  
 
The Hot Teller was in today.

 It was roughly the shape of New York, smooth with long oblong grooves. It was a shiny black color, with random grey speckle scattered across the surface. The rock fit perfectly in Frank's palm, warm from his grip. He'd found it walking along the sidewalk on his way to his World History class, and simply had to pick it up.

Socratic Paradoxes vs. Sophist Relativism

So I've got to write a paper for Biology. We watched the movie Contact, yeah... the film about Aliens, because our teacher was out.
My class is supposed to write an opinionated paper about something the movie talked about, Science, the Universal Language and et cetera.
I'm writing mine about truth.
Fucking complex topic, I'll tell you.

Is it Relative?
Universal?
Objective?
Intrinsic?
Absolute?
Subjective?

I personally think it's a combination of Relative and Universal, with a dash of Subjectivism, but I'm having a hell of a time trying to explain that in common English.

I'm not sure why Truth of all things was an option for a biology paper, because Truth itself is getting into morality and philosophy.
I haven't brought up jack shit about science.

ANYWAY
